    Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Eastern Partnership countries December 2009 Brussels Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Eastern Partnership countries May 2013 Krakow Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Enlarged ministerial meeting of the Visegrád Group March 2011 Bratislava Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Enlarged ministerial meeting of the Visegrád Group February 2013 Tbilisi Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Eastern Partnership informal dialogue June 2012 Chisinau Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandian Eastern Partnership informal dialogue In July 2010 negotiations on the Armenia EU Association Agreement were launched and in June 2012 Armenia and EU started negotiations on a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area DCFTA as part of the Association Agreement In July 2013 the negotiations on Association Agreement between Armenia and European Union were completed In September 2013 Armenia announced its decision to join the Customs Union The EU and Armenia acknowledged that they have completed negotiations on an Association Agreement including a Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area but will not proceed with its initialing due to Armenia s new international commitments On 29 November 2013 an EU Armenia joint statement was adopted at the Vilnius Summit reconfirming the commitment of the parties to further develop and strengthen comprehensive cooperation in all areas of mutual interest Based on common values Armenia and EU are committed to further cooperation aimed at the continuous improvement of democratic institutions and judiciary promotion of human rights and rule of law good governance fight against corruption strengthening of the civil society further improvement of the framework for enhanced trade and investments continued implementation of the mobility partnership and increased sectoral cooperation On 12 13 September 2013 the third Eastern Partnership informal dialogue meeting took place in Yerevan that brought together foreign ministers and ministers of education of the Eastern Partnership countries Armenia EU Sectoral Cooperation With the aim of enhancing sectoral cooperation with the EU a Protocol to the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement on Armenia s participation in Community programmes was signed in 2012 and has come into force since 1 march 2014 The Protocol allows Armenia to participate in a broad range of EU Programs and to cooperate with EU Agencies in a number of areas such as education health culture etc A Joint Declaration on Mobility Partnership between Armenia and EU was signed on 27 October 2011 in Luxemburg In the framework of the EU Armenia Mobility Partnership since March 2013 a targeted initiative for strengthening the Armenia s migration management capacities with special focus on reintegration has been implemented Since 2009 Armenia and EU have maintained a regular dialogue on human rights The Human Rights Dialogue meetings take place annually in Yerevan and Brussels respectively On 11 December 2014 the sixth meeting of the EU Armenia Human Rights Dialogue took place in Brussels EU Armenia Visa Facilitation Armenia and EU signed the Agreement on Visa Facilitation on 17 December 2012 and the Agreement on
